Recruitment for Michigan Esports competitive teams is exclusively open to students who have been accepted or admitted to the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor Campus.
Flint & Dearborn Campus students are not eligible
Aspiring competitors must participate in tryouts, which are held at the beginning of each semester.
Placement onto our official competitive teams is determined by factors such as performance, communication, and availability
While Michigan Esports does not provide any financial aid or scholarships for participants, our varsity-level teams do offer significant benefits. These perks include covered travel expenses for competitions, a team uniform, and preferred access to our training facilities.
